Does anybody else play this game?  We should have a Grand Prix de Aces High sometime.

LOL, lets race M16s in the TA. First one around the map. Winner take all.

Beef, Dinger and I have already had some M16 races.    We'll have to do it again.

I think a good event at the Con would be an M16 Grand Prix, with about 20 starters.  Collisions ON of course, and guns hot too.

I pulled GPL off the shelf last night for the 1st time in probably 6 months! and I still suck   I downloaded ver 1.2 last night before bed and didnt get a chance to check it out.

If ya want to run some laps around me, im up for it.

BTW who makes a good wheel, a might want to pick one up if it has a reasonably good price.

Hiya Camel!

If you haven't touched the game for a while, you might be surprised.  There is a strong online racing community, several new tracks, converters for IndyCar and NASCAR tracks, and a whole bunch of other new stuff.

I strongly advise you to go to Alison Hine's site:  http://simracing.com/alison/gpl/

Download Alison's setups, she has some really easy to drive setups for all the cars.  The Honda and Coventry setups are great, but the Ferrari setups are my favorite because they are a little quicker.

Also she has info for online racing, and some things you can do to the offline AI to make them easier to race.

I have the Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel, for which you can find a lot of setup information on Alison's site.

They are $140 to $170 new but I bought a remanufactured one like this:  http://www.compgeeks.com/cgi-bin/details.asp?cat=InputDevices&sku=205-8649

I've had no problems with it, and it was nice to save $100 or so.

Hmmmmm I will have to get NASCAR 3.  I saw a package at the store with NASCAR3/Craftsman Trucks/NASCAR Legends.  Maybe we can have an Indy race?
