Lucky me... I get to do a term paper for American military history. I've chosen the Battle of Coral Sea.

Anyone recommend any good books?

TIA

If you can find a copy, you might also consider "The First Team", by John B Lundstrom.  The focus is on fighter combat, but it covers the Coral Sea action on a plane-by-plane basis for the VF squadrons involved, and does contain some reference to the dive bomber and torpedo actions.

My son had military history this past year.

He did his on Kursk

I was kinda surprised he didint do something on the pacific theater inasmuch as his grandfather was there in the navy 43-45
