Got this from another forum.

this guy claims to have made this pic with ONLY Mspaint and I guess it took him  500hrs.

Worked for Matisse, and he didn't have an original to reference or a save/undo button, so... yeah.

I remember seeing amazing stuff done in MacPaint back in the early 80s before scanners were available, so I know it can be done.
