I wonder if the place hasn't just outlived its usefulness. Of course, I grow weary of having the same "discussion" with the same people over and over again. So I look at it differently than I used to. Coming in here is sometimes like standing next a bridge that is out waiting for the train to come by and wreck.

steve - we should start our own board.

Beet, fly on over, let's go have a beer or six.  I'm overdue to tilt a couple.

I'd say I rank as far over towards the "MAX" end of the conservative scale as anyone here. I have not been "moderated" since the O'Club returned, not even since the new moderators debuted. And supposedly I'm a pretty harsh guy, at least according to the liberals here.

So far, I've not seen too much bias, although it appears there are moderators who may be heavy handed or over zealous.<----Maybe THAT will get me "moderated".

I've adopted a "wait and see" attitude, but my above comment about the train wreck still applies. I used to subscribe to one of the longest running "O'Club type" flight sim newsgroups around, I left because I got tired of having the same "discussions" with the same people. After a while, oyu figure out it is a waste of time. I do debate some issues in here, and I sometimes just drop a couple of my "conservative curmudgeon" type remarks and just leave.

OK, Steve, you said, now show it.

Link us to "amerihaters running rampant" (Is this like Girls Gone Wild?") where (I guess) "Amerilovers" have been limply edited by Skuzzy.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong. I'm saying I haven't seen it, so "Show Me". I lived on the Missouri side of the line as a kid.

I may well. Our forum could be called "Gunslingers and Dead Cats".

In all honesty I don't see the funeral gathering here Nuke. I haven't been banned nor have I had any threads locked. I have said pretty much what I wanted to and not had a problem and that includes the last week. If you can't see how to live within the rather minor constraints here you simply must have your eyes closed. All you have to do is post as if you were having a discussion among adults, not junior high school wannabes.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
