HAHA! Got a funny and similar story for you.
The other squad night, we were flying to capture a base. We finally got it and were just reupping to fly to another base. One of our squadmates suddenly says on vox "Ok, I got the goon to field so and so" (the one we just captured) "Is it safe to drop em?"
We politely reply "Yeah, we took this base 5 minutes ago."
Of course he's not too happy about having flown the whole way. But on the way to the landing strip goes right over the town. Thank god he was looking down. He saw an M3 IN TOWN. I beeline my way back in my 110 and thankfully peg the M3 before he finds the maproom.
I got the bright idea to check the spawn point. On the way I find 2 more M3's and 1 osti. I smacked them and luckily our GV's were on the intercept route.
