i was rolling a formation of ar234's bout 2 days ago and on the runway i pulled the trigger..''leadbuff'' shot out of tail and killed drone#2 and drone #2 killed #3 in 2 rounds ..now if that is possible..why cant u shoot yourself down by chopping your own tail off in 17's ..i know they had a turret blocker that wouldent aloow them to shoot in certian areas.but why would they model this plane to kill itself??? ofcourse i lost the points which i could care less about . but why does this happen and why hasent it been adressed

Killshooter is off for bombers so that they can bomb with friendly GVs in the way. Also, you cannot shoot your own planes. The bullets go through them. Also, killshooter only affects friendlies, not on yourself.

The AR234 is the most buggy planes in the game. Landing with flaps, taking off with drones...there have to be twenty Arado bugs...

well personally i have never had a problem takeing off with drones or landing .. and yes i know that u can drop ords on friendly vehicles and i know killshooter is shooting another player and damage transfering toyour plane but i had no better way to explane it ..simpler terms..why does your drones kill eachother that should not be a factor

You donot shoot through your planes ..Its set so if your gun has a solution on your drone that particular gun wont fire.. But left, top, ball, and tail of other planes will...If you are aiming in the right spot that is..but u catch my drift:D

Th3e AR234 doesn't have the rules of turrets applied. Its defensive guns work the same way as front mounted ones.

ok ..well if your in 26's or an a20 for that matter and shoot another buff ..u get no damage u can shoot and shoot and shoot and no damage..in the pilot position

You go to outside view, slew around so you can see behind yourself, maybe use the mousepointer as crosshairs (fire a short burst and see where it goes). Now you have to fly in such a way, that you hit a pursuing fighter. The real aircraft had a periscope to "aim" the 20mms. Its impracticable at best...and I certainly have no idea why the original aircraft had fixed rearward firing 20mm guns...
I do take the 20mms along when I fly the Arado, it does distract the pursuing 163s and 262s - especially since one ping should be enough to do some serious damage. Just be carefull not to trigger them when on the runway in a formation, you WILL killshoot yourself.

haha, this bug has been around since ar234's were introduced into the game i believe, surprising that it hasnt been addressed, i used to wonder about in when i first started playing but i havent flown them in a long time

When cannon rounds hit the ground dont they have a blast radius? If your rounds hit the ground and explode then wouldnt it be treated as if you had dropped a bomb too low and blow up your plane? Just a thought.

All rounds have a blast radius. That's why if you're flying through a plane and shoot it, you die too.
