Well..  lol   Guess I feel bout the same and like the same music you've listed.. 8)

Can't argue with your likes and dislikes of newer music..  Some is good, most is chit..  But zepplin and floyd have got to be some of my favorites as far as older music goes.. Like anything else i suppose its a question of taste.. I feel very confident though that their music will outlive us all.. Always enjoyed them, always will.. 8)

I used to say that crap... even after playing for years.. then it hit me one day. Listen to the solo and outro solo on "Comfortably Numb" and you can get it.

sunking et all... I am not a musician.  I have no desire to be and I have no doubt that pink floyd is a very talented group so far as technical skill is concerned.

Not being a muscican... I am not so much concerned with technical skill as.... what the music does to me.   and..

Unless I am on acid... pink floyd bores me.   The emotion in question in their case is.... boredom...

David Gilmour is a great Lead Guitarist.  That's all that hits me.  Personally, The Wall is my LEAST fav. album they have ever done.

Gilmour is what it is about, its up to him whether they ever tour again, man I hope so.

Floyd is was and always will be amazing. and absolute orgy of sound that only they can bring together.
