Currently, we have two colors for friendly/enemies we can set.
*Clipboard Friendly/Enemy
This option changes the color of field icons
*Friendly/Enemy
This option changes the color of individual icons, dar dots, and dar bar.
The problem is HT, the ability to change colors to what one likes is very good, but it's not really practical because IMO the settings are grouped in a weird way.
What I mean by this is, recently, all the clipboard maps use a really nicely drawn arena map with pale green depciting land mass, and pale blue depicting sea.
The problem is, when in default setting, with "Friendly" colors set to RGB 0,255,0, it's very difficult to make out the dar bar or dar dots from the clipboard map because it is true green dar bar/dar dot, pitted against pale green land mass/pale blue sea area on the map.
So what happens if I change the "Friendly" colors to something darker - let's say, RGB 0,0,255 'true blue'?
Well, now, this makes it easier for me to see the dot dar and dar bar on the map - but now, the friendly plane icons are also blue, and it's pitted against dark blue seas and deep green terrains.
In other words, if you set the "Friendly" colors light, to make it easier to notice friendly icons in the terrain, the dar dots and dar bars also become a light color - which makes it hard to see features on the clipboard map.
If you make "Friendly" colors dark, to make it easier to see dar dots and dar bars on the clipboard, in turn, this makes seeing friendly icons in the game difficult!
...
So I have a small suggestion to make the color changing option a bit more practical.
Please consider making:
1. "Clipboard Friendly/Enemy" option change the field icon color, dar bar, and dar dot color at the same time.
2. "Friendly/Enemy" option change the in-game icon colors only.
So, if we set;
"Clipboard Friendly" to Blue, and "Friendly" to green;
*the dot dar, dar bar, and field icon is blue
*but the in-game plane icon is green
IMO, this would help making the change icon color option much more helpful and practical than what we have now. We can use different colors for dotdar/darbar and game icon individually, so we'll be able to use a darker color for better clipboard visibility, and lighter color for better in-game icon visibility.
