That's completely meaningless, irrelevant information. Asking a state, particularly Texas, about wether the death penalty is fair or not is like asking them wether or not you should pay your taxes.
As an exercise about the "liberal media", find as many stories as you can in which liberals are protesting something. Then find how many of those stories get an interview with a high ranking person in the company/government and how many times thay get an interview with the protest organizers. Usually they get the company/government story from a ranking person and use either images of a chanting mob behind the reporter or an interview with a random protester to represent the liberal side.
