There are 2 options when confronted with this sort of problem.  The first is to google up and download as many TrueType fonts as you can stomach, so that eventually you'll have everything you could conceivably need.

The other, which is what I usually do, is to just make the letter or number from scratch.  This is actually a trivial exercise for any competent skinner, no more difficult than making, say, US national insignia.  It's certainly easier than redoing the inside of a wheel well.  Just make some straight sections and arcs of various degrees of curvature, and piece the thing together.
