will we be getting  a early version of these bombers say b24d and b17 e or f these  will be needed for tour of duty and will open up a whole lot more new skins for the aircraft, surly  with the basic already here  the changes could be maid in a short space of time? loseing the nose turret from the b17   and  putting a glazed nose on the 24?

I doubt it, the B-17G version was build the most, so I think they'll stick with that.

Same thing with our current Liberator.

I was wondering the same thing, I think after the 109s are done HTC might re-do the B17 and add another version, maybe another b24 as well.

What we need a couple of versions of the B-25 Mitchel. It flew in every combat theater in many versions. Standard bomber, Ship Killer with the 75mm cannon, and the field buster with the 12 forward firing .50cals would be nice. Why HTC didn't put this plane in the game before the B-26 is beyond me, but we need it.

Probably to do something different from what they did in WarBirds.  Same goes for the La-5FN instead of the Yak-9U, C-47A instead of Ju52 and N1K2-J instead of the A6M5 or Ki-84 at release.

B17 F vs G

Yeah, but it was the F that had to go in without fighter cover and against the peak of the German air defense. I can see the scenarios already...
