Blimey I live in Brum. South of the city. Was at Duxford all day and late home so missed all that. Scary indeed. Will be at the Ceremony and concert to mark the official day of commemoration for the 60th anniversary of the end of the war tomorrow in the main park in birmingham. Hope they don't disrupt that!

Looks like people are getting very jumpy.

False alarm. Good thing is that it looks like the police etc was ready and acted.

The bad is ofcourse that somewere these terrorist morons are laughing knowing that they have acheived their goal again.

Well they didn't stop 25000 brummies having a great time this afternoon and evening at the Commemoration event. Big bands CBSO and a very good fireworks display. Oh and the best bit a MK1 spit that you could sit in. So I got to sit in the cockpit of a spit all I've got to do now is win the competition I entered at Flying Legends yesterday and I'll get a flight in one!
