In the mean time.. you can practice for the beta by reciting these lines:

"Once the debug code is removed the framerates will go up"

"Its a little shakey on the stability side, but they should get the bugs worked out"

"The graphics are stunning and they'll fix the low framerate problem before release"

"The promised features are way better than anything on the market... and they say they should be out any day now."

"This game is going to kick everyone's ass! I can't wait to try it for the first time."

"It shows alot of potential."

"I'm sure the networking problems will be resolved shortly."

Why you're always so pessimistic DjV ?

Fact is games are developing all the time and needing more CPU power and memory.
But don't worry: Tetris runs fine in 486

Great graphics! If FM is good too, I even might buy that game. Can't remember when I last bought a boxed game....

Oh! And fortunetly my current pc can handle game graphics too! It only takes P300 & 64MB ram!

I will say this much, squeak all you want. Every game has its bugs AH is no exception. Any Beta program tries to hammer out all teh tedious ones. But can every bug be sniffed out before release? Nope. DJ I find your posts borderline on Gilliganism. Talk less play more, and quit your whining. Bunch of freakin cry babies over here.

Well thankyou sachs.. I find people that whine about whining to be two faced.

As for what I said before... just prepping the forum. I'm not trying to sing the praises of AH or any other sim over Il-2. I bought WW2OL and I'll most likely buy Il-2 if it is released.

Just pointing out the standard lines when ANY beta is released these days. The thing is.. I can use the EXACT same post in 6 months when the new latest greatest goes beta.

And Staga, when it comes to flight sim betas... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why someone would be pecimistic.
