When I checked my score I noticed that under vehicles vs objects, Hit % is 0 but I have killed FH's, BH's, VH's, fuel, ammo, troops and even town buildings. What needs to be hit for this to be calculated? I noticed alot of people have 0% there.

Another ? is why do we have a ranking for field captures under attack for bombers? It will never happen as U can't have a C47 under attack mode.

vehicle VS object, is vehicle bombing %.... meaning PT rockets or torpedos only.

those are the only things that count toward that part of the score

Dogg, As far as I know the hit % versus objects it is from hitting objects with rockets with PT's ..at least that's the only way I've ever had a score there. If you do hit something with rockets watch your gv score plummet.
As far as the captures, if you let troops out of a M3 then up a fighter in attack mode before the troops go in it will give you the capture in Attack score. I never knew this until WMLute enlightened me about a month ago.

yep.. that's how some squads "pad" their scores in the stats, and have a high "attack" overall rank.

IIRC the attack capture does not help you personally, as it does not show up under individual scores, only for the squad. at least thats how it used to be.

Correct scorewhoring procedure is to spawn a PT Boat offshore and launch rockets into the town. You will soar to the highest of ranks! Have fun....

lol, thats dumb to have only rockets score that. It should be with all GV's with the main gun vs objects.

"gaming the game" has prolly been around as long as the game has been, I'll admit to taking a pt boat and launching rockets at a cv group, town or base...if we weren't supposed to use them for that then what are they for?

I'm only lower than that because I have a few sorties in the "other" parts

You would still smoke me even up 9 out of 10 times and the tenth you would have to disco.

I shot a plane down with them once, tried to hit a town once...missed by a mile. Difficult to tell how good or bad you are doing with the scores in GV's the way they are. I like to keep up with my hit%, just to remind myself not to spray wildly

You actually worry about Score? Much less hitting Buildings?

(I type this as I clean Dr. Pepper Spit off the monitor at work and ponder why in the WORLD anyone worries about object hitting percentage)

I saw it there and was just wondering why it stayed 0%. I like to have a low rank just incase our squad has CV operations going of it and we don't have to worry about some moron taking it away to hide it or send it to a worthless place. Other then that I can care less about it.
