Needs testing in AH, not had chance to test it :)

ok mustaine, i went over the lines with blue, and then filled everything in with black. saved, and put it in paint shop pro, but any image editor will do. then try and find the blur or smoothen edges tool, ans just smooth it out a bit. confusing i know, but you'll get the hang of it. then, open the sight with paint, and save as, selecting 256 colour, rather than 24 bit, and your good to go:aok

I use the gaussian blur as well as radial, some times the lens blur.

I usually make the sight first in white using paths, then make a merged copy of the just the white - then duplicate that several times. then you can use the opaciaty on the layers and blur a layer or 2 and blend them, then you can bring out the unblurred layer a bit for the clarity. then merge  that with a black layer. Now create a new layer and do your color on it. now take the blacklayer/with sight on it and move it on top of the color layer - Use multiply / luminosity as the layer property and you have your sight -

index it, save it.

I havent tried the 512x512 yet, and I dont think it would be a big issue on performance since its only seen on your FE. Just eats up more texture memory

I'm interested in trying it, and see if I can add in a "ghost" image succesfully that would give the gunsight glass depth.

Hey nice work!

Grabbed em all
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.
