I think that Microsoft Sidewinder precision 1 and force feedback 2 were the only ones that use opticals after MS stoped production 2 years ago.

With MS J-sticks gone forever, whatg other brand/model offers the same high tech and bulletproof durability of MS Joystick Sidewinder series?

Just MS sticks on Ebay.

Havn't seen any other stick company come up with an optical.

Basicly 1k3, no one, there is a huge (Imo) hole in the market.

No one that I've seen makes sticks that are as reasonablly priced as the sidewinders. And nothing is as trouble free or dependable that I've heard of.

Nothing!

Go to ebay and grab what you want while you can.

Personally I have a pair of MS Sidewinder prec 2 usb's, the 2nd one cost me 28 $ with shipping, brand new in box.

I also have a prec pro gameport as standby.

But if you keep watching you'll even see original 3d pro opticals for sale.
