Several here have done a good job debunking the "conspiracy" theory.

Yeah I sent some emails to a french guy who has one of those conspiracy sites. He had some pictures of wreckage that he said were from a cruise missile, but I recognized them as 757 slat actuator parts from my old job. He accepted my opinion but later on one of those sites said I could have been a "co-opted disinformationist" or someothing like that. The wave of nutbags that surfaced post-911 is problematic, but they do make for good comedy.

LOL, yup. People choose what they want to believe despite what facts might be staring them in the face.
I wish I remember those specifically that had their ducks in a row when they were responding. They did such a good job, I didn't have to pipe in that much. I remember your post, I remember Grun's various ones as well. LOL, those by Grun's had to be his "shining hour"

yesterday my buddy was getting cable installed.

the guy said he used to work at the pentagon for the navy's IT department, and was there during the attack.

he said there is security camera footage of the plane hitting out there on the net somewhere.

i'd be curious to see it.

I don't think some people can help being conspiracy theorists. Many have severe issues accepting the simplest answer. Instead of a group of men with armed with their wits, simple weapons, and fierce determination driven by beliefs taking over an undefended aircraft, it most obviously had to be a drone aircraft flown in from a secret location, or cruise missle, or a hidden bomb....

Same goes for JFK, the moon landing, alien abductions, etc, etc..

I am not a consipiracy therorist..well at least not on this subject.

The closest and strongest arguement I can see for a 9/11 conspiracy is the coincidence of 9/11 being on 9/11.
With 911 being our national phone number for emergancies.

An irony one would normally see out of Hollywood. LOL

I have not seen those pictures of the 757 previously.

It validates everything that has happened since and reminds me of the cost americans are paying with their lives everyday in the mid east, whether you agree with it or not.....none of it would be happening had 9/11 not occured.
