I really love that show. It quite often says what I feel about stuff. Very real relationships. Although the Jesus bit they are doing is kinda gay. It doesnt really fit anything. Almost an after-thought.

yea the two old fat guys get old after a bit as well.  I've been following the show since season 1.  I like the main character Tommy played by dennis leary.  He's funny and real and not allways likeable.

Ya i like the bits about the chief and his nutty wife, the relationships the crew has with women and freaks, but yes the old guys seem too out of place. Atleast the guy who plays the dad (cant remember his name...like him in other stuff..and a vet too) acts like hes forcing the part..guess hes just old.

Charles Durning is 82 years old. Cut him some slack. This could very well be his last role.

The whole premise behind the show is Tommy's guilt about not being killed at 9/11 with his buddies and the demons that haunt him. The ghosts are getting a lesser role than in Season 1. By next year I see them only popping into an episode or two.

Overall, the show is great. Definitely Leary's best stuff to date.

Oh, and Callie Thorne...I'd definitely hit it!

Last night's episode wasnt one of the best but was still good. Still loved the part when he took a leak on that guys table selling cheap 9/11 junk. The cheif thats having problems with his wife was also in Backdraft I believe, a very good movie in my opinion.
