Your attitude sucks.
I don't say that. I think it's pretty cool that people from all over the world play this game and post on this BBS.
Talking to non gamers when it subject comes up and saying that the game I play has people from Russia, Great Britian, Japan, Finland and who knows where else all playing a single game the response is "Really? I didn't know you could do that."
I don't want to "Make it all American." That said, American manufactures did make a wide variety of aircraft with even more variants so there are more to pick from.
Do I think American iron is over represented? Hmmm, perhaps if you count the variants. The basic airframes for the most part were used in large numbers. Sometimes in the thousands.
I can also understand how somebody outside the U.S might feel slighted that aircraft from their country are not available or have fewer choices. A person wants to have their countries aircraft to fly in, at least sometimes.
A British jet, for instance, while unique to Britian, would not see use for the modeling time involved. I have never been able to afford the Me 262. As a novelty aircraft the 262 fills the bill.
The American GV'ers often say "We need a Sherman tank because thats an American tank." But nobody would drive it once they die in it everytime they get hit and find they seldom can kill any other armor.
I'm sure that as the game progresses other aircraft that show up won't be always American. When I fly it is usually a Spit V unless it's mud moving.
