Plane went down
« on: July 27, 2005, 04:42:27 PM »
My dad called me a couple days ago to ask me what a Yak22 was. I said y, and he said a Yak22 went down at an airshow here in Oklahoma. For a second I thought he was talking about a F-22 cuz ive never heard of a Yak22. Soo i looked it up on the internet for a Yak22.  But I didnt find a picture of it. I did find a russian plane tho when i typed in Yak22 on google but the plane looked like a LaLa. Does anyone know if this is a plane or maybe I heard the name wronge, but i know its a prop. To bad i dont have info on crash or an artical on it.

It was a Yak 52. An article can probably still be found at http://www.aero-news.net . The pilot died the next day.
