Buff Pilots feel left out
« on: August 03, 2005, 01:34:07 PM »
It's not really fair that fighter jock get there kill on the buffer but us BUFF pilots get nada after a killer bombing run.
It would be nice to get the credit for a job well done.

SYSTEM: FTsnafu bombed 13 buildings which were incapable of defending themselves.

Then may I have the honor to bestow you with the 1st Official Tool Shed Warrior's Rainbow Flag of Elite Excellence in the field of Milkrunning and Tool Shed Destruction.

Keep reaching for that rainbow FTSnafu and congratulations.

maybe to show a higher rank in the toolshedporkers CoC you can do brown smears on the flag Ack Ack?

More smears = higher the rank?

For the rest of the "tool shedders" out there...

I'm wondering how some of you are getting such high rankings in your attack and bomber scores if it's such a waste of time??

if you are talking to me, i primarily up bombers because i like deathstarring fighters in them.  if i need to go afk i will up some, come back, bomb something and gun down the fighters that try to intercept, i will often circle a base in order to get them to attack me.

Naaa... I wasn't being specific Furball.  I just get a kick out of the "fluffer" sentiment which still seems to reside in a fighters-r-us world.  Then seeing almost everyone posting has killed objects of some sort, I had to laugh at the irony.

I like to divebomb the GV areas. I occasionally miss and knock down a VH or strat. Sue me.

BTW, my ingame ID is hub, for anyone anal enough to check my stats in order to validate my posting on a subject.

Wow, now I'm laughing at the irony too.

Seriously, I have bombed on occasion, and I will probably continue to do so. However, begging for recognition for something that is neither uncommon nor difficult is asking a bit much, IMO.

there is a difference between doing it once or twice a month (we shall call this the married man approach)

and doing it all the time and bragging about it (the toolshed playa approach)

I realized a 'toolshed' and 'milk' run is a raid on an HQ, but why is it called that way? What has a toolshed got to do with an hq?
