Going to be adding Soda's and Hammer's pages to the links.

There is still a lot to do.

Yep, it's great that you guys are redesigning the site, but please give support to Firefox users like me.  I just plain don't use IE, and it'd be a pain to have to switch back and forth just to see the forums.

It looks great and the colors for the BBS are good, I could say the only thing I really don't like is the top of the BBS.

For me it sticks nearly a quarter of the page down, Take away the Yellow bar, (Unless it will be used for banners :D).
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I agree.  Even if your going to have banners the top takes up way too much room.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

I hope that they change the gold-on-tan font-color scheme at the forum and thread levels of the bulletin board (the levels at which you click on the forum or thread you want to go into).  Also, when you mouse over and get the light gold on tan, it is even less contrast and harder on the eyes.

Once you are inside a thread, reading messages, it is decent --  black on tan gives much better contrast.

Actually that is a problem. Layers are excluded from W3C in HTML 4.01 trans and above and Firefox/Mozilla don't support those.

You'll have to substitute with
