my AH2 night (long post)
« Reply #30 on: July 29, 2005, 09:49:35 PM »
Oh, that's nothing.  The other night I upped an LA7 just by accident.  So I was mainly screwing around.

I was following an Ex squad mate when an 109f tried to drop in on them.  From 800 out I gave a burst that connected with him.  He was way too far away to see what damage I had done to him.  Or if I had even hit him.  But I did see the fuel trail and quickly after he went down.

So suddenly 3 tempests decide to play with our convoy.  One dissapears and the other 2 decide they want me.  Bad.

Honestly, they can't touch me (in my la7).  And I'm ever getting closer and closer to them.  Apparently I landed a few hits on one of the Tempests, though I didn't see it.

Suddenly an La5 shows up.  And honestly, he's out flying me (I hardly spend any time in the La7).

I can't run, there are two Tempests on me.  I can't turn, there is an La5 on me.

So finally I get shot down.  Guess which fun loving priest it was who shot me down.

Seagoon.  He didn't reply to my hails though.  I think it's funny to run across the forum celebrities in game.  (Lazs has the voice of a girly man).

It was Karaya and some other guy I had never heard of in the Tempests.

so, this post is here so we can all hear about how someone got shot down by a HO or by a 4 v 1.   gee, that is a rarity in the MA for sure.

i think the dweebness lies in the fact that people are so concerned about dying, or how they die.  just get in another plane, break out the ego repair, and go kill them.  sheesh.

this post sounds more like an attempt to get people fired up, i mean do you really think no one else has run into behavior they don't find acceptable?  and then again, why else would you spam 200 calling others dweebs, then come here and start all over again, under the guise of wondering if it every happened to anyone else. lol.

i was HO'd in a 10 v. 1.  what a dweeb, is name was troll.  this every happen to anyone else?

I don't care to die in the MA. Infact i go into every fight expecting to die. It's just how i die. And i wouldn't complain if it didn't happen ever sortie every night.

I think it peaked this week. hopefully it will go back to normal. like i said before i'm over it. so stfu :aok

Hi Laser,

Sorry for not replying to any hails, I don't tune 200 - it keeps my blood pressure down. I remember that dogfight, you were doing a topnotch job esp. considering it was plane you don't fly often (the LA5 is my usual ride).  Feel free to PM me anytime you want to catch my attention.

Had to chuckle at achieving forum celebrity status. I've spent so long on the B list. :D

You need to come off of your pedestal.  Give me a break Punisher.   :aok   I could turn this into a deletable "flamebait post", but I won't, I'll take the high road.

Karaya

PS - I have only come across two other "sticks" in AH that are definately better (pulling amazing manuevers) than myself in the La7, they are:  Shane & SECOmust.

Add Elevenk to that . You don't wanna meet him in an la7. So seldom you find an la7 that fights - its quite shocking when you do! :aok

I should rephrase that because I don't know how profecient you are in the la7. But he shocked the heck out of me. I didn't know the la7 could be that good.

To enter a fight at 5k at the front is stu... er..  brave and you will end up in the receiving end.

Try this . Take off from a field off the front -
get to the front with speed and 15k.
If you see any higher cons, reverse immediately.

Never enter longer turn fights . set harddeck to 5k. Never go under 200mph at any time ( 300mph in the faster planes)

If the rules above are met you will be a threath  and not a simple target.

These rules can be applied at  most ww2 sims around.

Holy cow! :lol

Do you realize if everyone played your timid game there would NEVER be a fight? Sheesh...

No wonder Warbirds is dieing with trainers like this. Of course some of 'our' trainers teach running and bailing so can't say much... ;)
