Don't old triumphs use SU carbs like all the brit cars?

I had a spifire.. had Zenith/Stromberg side drafts. Worked ona couple other triumphs with 'em too.. a GT6 and a TR6. Mighta been a US market mod; remember laughing at the goofy 'english' manual.. showed different carbs and had indecipherable tool descriptions like 'spanner'. ;)

If I remember correctly, my old MGA had strombergs too.. damn; that's goin waaaay to far back.
