OK Arcade gamers where can I find the Chopper Arcade game
« on: July 30, 2005, 04:54:38 PM »
Does anyone here have a link to this game? I lost it recently and have been trying to find it again. Its for the chopper game that you had to fight in and pick up the troops and then take them back to the home base. If any of you guys can help me out with locating that link please let me know. I can not seem to find it on any of the arcade coin op websites. Hell if I could find the actual arcade version itself I would buy that and put it in the basement to play.

Yeah, gotta be Choplifter.  I've got four letters for you.  MAME.  You can figure the rest out yourself and with a little help from Google.

He could be talking about "Steel Talons"

A great game that was released in 1991.

IIRC didn't Apple have a similar game called Chopper Rescue or something like that? It was out there for the Apple 2 series of computers back in the 80's.

Anyone remember Wings of Fury?   It was an F6F that went back and forth across the screen where you could strafe troops running on the ground, bomb aaa, hit ships, shoot planes etc. Was alot of fun.
