We did this to a friend of mine a few years ago. Of course, he was in the trunk at the time.
He got us back by playing dead. We didn't believe him at first but when we came back later and he somehow managed to get blood dripping out of his ear, we were quite shocked to say the least.
That friend's pretty lucky to be alive, to say the least
