Sad to see him go, I always liked his professionalism.

I feel sorrow for his family, but truth be known I have'nt watched him since 2002 when he cut Toby Keith from ABC's 4th of July special because he did'nt like the lyrics to "Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American)". Kharma...go figure.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Lung cancer? Was he a smoker? Wasn't the leftist elites responsible for going after the tobacco companies with hefty lawsuits?

Yeah, he was a smoker, that quit, and went back.

It's sad when someone dies too young, but that doesn't make him some kind of hero or icon.  He was a talking head who slanted the news to correspond with his personal views.

Never was my favorite newstalker, but prayers go out to his family anyway.

Along with all the other cancer victims in the world, and their families.

Kind of a side note.
My mom in law loves to gossip. My brother in law knows this so several years ago he planted the "fact" that Dan Rather and Peter Jennings were a gay couple. So, a couple of years later, my mom in law comes back with the "news" that Rather and Jennings were gay! It was funny how the news traveled from her, to her sisters, then back much later (she forgot about starting it) to her.
Brother in law said "Busted!"
We all had to laugh about that one. :)
