It wouldn't work for me earlier because the web forums were down when I first tried to get to the vid.  It works fine now.

Ok, is it me or is this a "more money than sense issue"?

Why would you spend collossal quantities of dosh and then drive your expensive vehicle at low speed over obstacles you could more easily walk up, just to see if it does or does not tip over and and get all smashed up?

Personally, the off roading I do is to get to  and from places to hunt, even then I look for the way least likely to damage my 4x4. Then again, I can't afford to replace it.

seagoon it's also about economics.

$50,000

or

$4200

The Jeep video wasn't all that good.  The H2 video was funny but anyone can make a video of a few jeeps not making it and then put them in the same catagory as the liberty. (wich costs almost a quater of an H2)

my jeep is pretty much stock.  While I can't go to alot of the places that the H2s went I can get around for next to nothing.  I get better gas miliage and I can/have paid it off in my lifetime.

There's alot of H2s out there driven by people who are small business owners because they could buy them and write them off on their taxes because of the gross weight.  I'm not sure if that loophole is still intact but that's MHO why I see so many around.

H'2's are peices O' *#^. I didnt watch the Jeep "counter" video, but didnt have to. I have seen plenty enough Hummers breaking when they are doing absolutely nothing. I didnt even see a hummer attempt anything that difficult. Ohhhh they went up lion's back....Wow... Not impressed...What did strike me, is that the three hummers followed each other up and down, so if one had a problem all 3 would get taken out. Says something to me about the drivers.

Price is also a factor. All that money, it better drive up a 40% grade. I also noticed a bunch of the "Jeeps" they showed going up loose rocks, where as the hummer was traversing sandstone(smooth red rock)? Big deal, someone is bragging about their $40,000 h2 being better than someone $5000 Jeep with $10-15k in add-ons, what losers. H2's are for Posers. It's like buying an Alienware computer, yeah its good, but you still got ripped off.
