Carrier Elevator
« on: October 03, 2009, 11:53:18 AM »
I would like to see the carrier elevator in the up position, it would make multiple planes spawning a little easier especially when the carrier is turning.

And, more than likely, Air operations were not carried out with the elevator lowered anyway.

I should say something negative here.

Oh yeah.  Aircraft didn't launch when the carrier was turning.   :devil

Raise the elevator.

The elevator is the stand-in for the indestructable on land fields; it houses the "hangar" you go to choose a plane from the clipboard.

I would like to see, sometime in the future, when you spawn in your engine is runing and the elevetor is taking you up to the flight deck from the hangar.

I've been saying this since the new carrier model came out! Definitely raise the elevator! A/C wouldn't be taking off from a carrier with the elevator down!

Catapults during WWII were fairly rare and not favored over a "manual" launch in most cases.
