if there's time

this isnt as important as some of the needed updates to the game, but if there is any time, the film viewer could do with a little update, eg. showing skins, some better camera controls, a fixed viewpoint possibly? and all the bug that have been reported. it would be really great:aok

I would love a way to import old films and save them as new. This probably would work BEFORE the system is implemented, but would work for future versions. Have a header tag with the version, so that the viewer knows which format the film is in, then it will try to update the format. If it fails it fails, but if it works, :aok .

I would also love a way to STRIP all view commands from a file Start from scratch with capturing your views again. There currently is no way to do this. I screwed up a good film once by capturing views, and could never get rid of them, as re-capturing views again and again doesn't work, the old view tags are still there underneath it. There is a strip buffer, a strip vox (last I remember), so we should have a strip view keys option.

Last time I watched a film I took, I heard all the sounds except my engines/guns. Is there something set wrong or is that a "feature" of the film recorder/viewer?
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
