I'm afraid they would become hangar queens, however they would be really good for special events.

Maneuverability isn't equal to small turn radius. :) One complete roll took 8-9 seconds with a Gladiator.

They could be a lot of fun together, but in events where any other planes are involved, well...you know.

Though both are somewhat sentimental favourites of mine. Against each other only, they would be awesome fun.

Anything that isn't super uber will be hanger queens in the LWMAs. We need more gap fillers.

I think  we need a definition of "Hangar Queen" first   :)

I think  we need a definition of "Hangar Queen" first   :)

1. A plane that most people wont fly because it isn't the best in its category and their lack of skill would just get them killed faster then in a late war super plane.

2. A plane that that would see very little use in the LW because (#1) but would be used mainly in every other arena.

3. Any plane built before 1944 and is usually one not one flown by the Americans.

According to #1 probably most planes are HQ's ;)

and it's #2 what I'm wondering about... how little use is "little"? Is "usage" below .5% low enough? Or the bottom 10 planes on the list?  I'm occasionally using the HQ  tag myself, but I don't have any idea how to define it... :headscratch:

3. Any plane built before 1944 and is usually one not one flown by the Americans.

Now that's a clear definition  :D
