P-51D armament options

2. Add the ability to carry 10 rockets with no bombs

From memory, you can select rockets without any bombs already.

Yes, but only 6 rockets. It could carry as many as 10, which we do not have for an option in AH

Did it do that during WWII or was it a post war change?  The Spit IX could carry 4 and did postwar, but only 2 during WWII.  The Tempest could carry rockets, but did not during the war.

er....didn't it already have the 150 gallon dt's?
and...wasn't it already possible to carry only the rockets? Even the 10? (The D-version can't even carry 6!)

I believe we already have that, 2x75 gallon DT's.  
But if you mean 2x150... jeez where do you need to fly to?

Not like we really need them, but the P-38 has the option and so does the P-47. The P-51 could do it also, but the option isn't available.

On the same lines, I don't know if it was done very often, if at all, but 1 DT could be fitted and the other wing side could be plugged so that a single bomb could be carried. The F4U and P-38 both have this option already and it would be nice to get it added to the P-51 as well.

The F4u and the P38 have central pylons. The P51 has pylons way out past the wheel wells. It would be totally unstable as the gas constantly drains, heavier on the DT side at first, then way heavier on the bomb side once the DT is gone, which is why I bet they didn't do this very often.
