Good God,  the main responsibility of our government is to provide for our safety.  They keep putting diddlying guns to our heads instead!!  :(

 The article is really about teaching the security personnel of the arab countries with existing nuclear reactors methods to protect nuclear facilities and materials from sabotage or theft.

It may not be a hook after all. Have you ever heard of the term "mole"? Unless these folks get an extensive security screening it is still risky. Even with the screening there is no guarantee that the info won't be "slod" or traded to someone less palatable.

 sorry miko,  after all the crap at los alamos and 9/11 I have a hard time trusting people that come from a state I consider an enemy.  Especialy an arab state.  It seems real stupid to me to show these people the inner workings of machines that could possibly be used to kill whole populations of cities.

 Hopefully they will stop this practice soon...
