Balance for Boroda and other Russian politruks

Quite interesting site containing polls made in Russia. Especially point V(security) is interesting read.

############################

Not in that site yet:
majority of Russians (38% from 1200 intervieved) think local police (militia) is most criminal profession.

After militia comes government employees and politics.

Thiefs, black-mailers, killers, terrorists, drug dealers and mafiosos took the bronze medal in that race together with "businessmen" and business owners...

Yea, after spending a lot of time in the far east and moscow - as a good friend would say, 'you join the militia if you are too much of a pusy to be a gangster.' Happens to be true.

Please name 2-3 professions that you think are most criminal

policemen - 38%
ministers,  members of Parliament, officers of state - 19%
bandits, terrorists, killers, thieves - 14%
businessmen - 14%
lawyers, judges - 7%
salesmen - 6%
bankers - 6%
bodyguard, security - 4%

Don't see anithing exceptional. People aren't fools but I think businessmen and bankers should be on the top. :)

I find it a bit hilarious that policemen and ministers rank higher than terrorists :D

Indeed, most of the people expect more troubles from our beloved militia then from gangsters. Last time I got robbed in the street was when in I was taken to a patrol car at 02:00 at night 100m from my home for "appearing drunk at the street", and our brave militia warriors took my diskman. All calls to "internal security" ended in something like "**** off, we are too busy to listen to you".

The problem is that gangsters (real ones, not kids in the streets gangbanging other kids to take their cellphones) are usually very sane and decent people that have such a special job, while militia are usually just bastards who feel they never will be punished.
