To much BLACK?
« on: August 23, 2005, 07:06:02 PM »
After installing a new Radeon 9200 graphics card all the planes on my clipboard show black, as well as radar, spawn lines, gun convergence lines, etc.  In setup I am unable to change colors with the sliders because the color box stays black no matter where the sliders are placed.  Also, when flying the area between the water and blue sky is black?

Can anyone help get me out of the black?

EzTarget,

I have a 9200.  I am using some older drivers that work well.  All the newer drivers I have tried give me these strange graphics.  I wish I could tell you what version I am using.  It says my driver version is 6.14.10.6490.

It is a driver issue.  ATI re-introduced this bug in the newer drivers for older cards.  9000 series cards should use the 4.12 Catalyst drivers, without the Cataylst Control Center (use the ATI Control Panel).
