You should see it from the bomber pilots position. While you see the bomber explode, the other guy is still firing away at you but since his plane is dead he can't hurt you. As you close in, he suddenly warps to the pilots seat and by the time he scrambles back into the guners position, you've filled his new bomber full of holes, maybe killing it as well as the first one.
I for one hope you always colide with him.
