Keep modding it and then take it to the track.

You musta gotten the cheaper version. Thats the mistake I made the first time. Kept it for all of about 1 hour thenreturned it to the store and got the more expencive one. Got the "Barbie Jeep" for my daughter.  It his set to only run at slow speed unless you emove a bolt from the accelerator paedal (as per the instructions that came with it) Goes quick. Yes would have to jog to keep up with it and the charge lasts a couple days of almost nonstop use.

LOL one day last year I even contracted my daughter to do some hauling with it to bring some paverstone into the back yard.
I'd load a few in the front yard then she would drive it around back where my wife would unload it.
She loved using it to help out.

the only time the charge runs down is when one of my daughters friends decideds they should ride in it togther.
Her friend more resembles a bowling ball with legs then a kid. and weighs about ten times as much

but thats another story

It's an early 1990s version, originally quite a bit more anemic then the ones sold today.  It was a freebie, and I am very satisfied with it now.  If the kid gets more than maybe 20-30 feet in front of me, I probably cannot catch up to him until he stops or turns.  I'll speedo it with the GPS tonight if I get a chance.

Ahh. could be age has something to do with it too. LOL

I remember first time I ever saw one was at the Miami Metro Zoo (Best zoo I've ever seen)
Rather then us a stroller some kid was just driving that along. They even stored their drinks in it.
I was like "WOW THATS COOL"

I wanted almost desperately to get one for my son
Unfortunately at the time I had a "real job" which payed next to nothing.  I could only barely afford to pay attention let alone one of those.
So that was the first thing I got my daughter as soon as she was big enough. Money well spent. She's has a blast with it.
