My 21 year old son Andrew and my 15 year old daughter Christina were killed in a car accident on Sunday night.

Needless to say life has forever changed for me, my wife and our one surviving daughter.

I come here to see the boards as for whatever reason it helps me forget for a second or two about how much pain we are feeling right now.

I know I'll be back because I love the history and it will in many ways help me get over this someday if it's even possible.

So don't give up on me.  I'll help out with this stuff when I can.

Thanks

Dear Guppy,

Just saw this. There is nothing that I can say right now that will remove the pain and awful wrongness of your loss, no matter how much I would dearly like to be able to do so. There is only one who can soften the pain and bear you through a time like this, and I'm certainly not Him. But what I can do, is be in prayer for you, your family, and your daughter, that he will be to you a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm

If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.

My deepest condoleces to you and your family.

Your family needs you to be strong but don't be afraid to be show your sorrow. Allow your wife and daughter to see your pain and let them comfort you. Its good for them to feel that they can give you comfort in return as it is for you to comfort them.
