attack 3 flight stick calibration!!!!! HELP

help!! i cant calibrate my flight stick. heres what happens to it:
1. its hard to return stick to "neutral/dead zone"
2. there is no "in between" when moving the stick, its either in the dead zone or full manuvering
3. it gets moved 1 mm and your p51 is doing a barrel roll

is there a way to make the dead zone bigger and make an in between movement area so i can say, bank left or right gently etc.

the strange thing is that the stick works perfectly for "lockon: modern air combat"

In WinBLOWS, go into your control panel and double click on the gamepad looking icon and then calibrate your joystick.  Make you you click on APPLY after the calibration to make sure the settings are saved.  Next in AH, calibrate your joystick again then go play.

Also: In AH check your joystick settings. Setup> Controls > Joystick > Settings.

If your sliders are all at the top of the screen even a slightest fraction of a movement on the stick means you get 100% input. Default has the sliders starting out just above zero (bottom of the slider bar) and linearly moving up to 100%.
