Got to drive a Roadrunner one time when we ran out of gas and the owner was drunk and let me drive.  Hurst shifter with a pistol grip extending up about two feet.  Couldn't hardly put that baby in gear without spinning the tires.  But babyed it back to town after finding two gallons (had to pour a couple cups of gas  in the carb to get it started.)  That was a cool car.  Maybe not a hot rod but close to it.  Not bad gas mileage either, considering we got 'er home from about 15 miles away.

Thanks for the heads up,  I ordered these for the next tune-up.  They should make a world of a difference.
