Santa, like the fact that Clinton veto'd a bill this week that would have made it easier for Military personal to vote while stationed inside the U.S.?

I still don't see why they can't have it if you get the most votes in a state then you win that state and you get 1 vote. Add all the States vote and then you have a winner. If there is a tie then go by popular vote.

This way all states are equal and every vote DOES count. Not just in your state but in the overall tally.

Count every vote?

It's a known fact that 2-3 million votes  across the country were not counted, and had similiar problems as Florida, but yet they were not counted either.

As one supreme court member said "We may never know who the winner of the election was, but we certainly know who the loser is."

Being a member of the military, I think Bush will do more for me personally than Gore would have. Bush's view that we are soldiers not policeman was the most persuasive reason I supported him. Anything else he gets done for me is just gravy.

Rip, that's only half the story. Like why he did it.

BBut yes, *precisely like that*. Just bringing one side of the story and being heavily biased.

Man, this is gonna be fun. I ain't even a democrat  .

Hm, why limit myself to one side though? Well, mostly because you and Toad got the reps covered pretty damned well.

Santa, you and I both know why he did it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a well known fact that 9 out of 10 ballots from military people voted republican across the board.

And yes, I admit, I've heard one side of the story.  Was there a bill attached to it? (There usually is)

You Republicans do realize that this will make YOU the targets for the next four years?

LOL Santa!  Sometimes I think you have a good handle on American politics.. then there are times like this

EVERY president is under scrutiny for EVERY decision he makes... with the opposing party ALWAYS there to point it out.

According to what you have said here, nobody should really want to win because they'd only be criticized the whole time  It would be kind of refreshing to see the candidates slinging mud at themselves.

Bush: "I wasn't drunk, I was totally toejamfaced"

Gore: "Yes, I did invent the internet... and unless you can prove otherwise please shut up"

hehehehe

I dunno, Kieren, the truth hurts sometimes. Put that sentence back in there.

Would that qualify as the Danish family trunk?

Kieren, go right ahead  .

Danish politics are largely boring and our politicians normal people not elevated in terms of power or money above the rest.

You'll get bored fairly quickly I believe.

Dejavu: Well, that's going to happen, right? I am dead on no?

So, my grasp on US politics is very firm. In fact, it is so good that *I* should become the president.

Accepting blame is a small price to pay for access to nukes. Muahahah.

Going to happen?  No.

Was, is and always will be happening.. yes.

Basically... its as insightfull as "whomever is inaugerated is going to be president".  Its true... its just not much of a revelation.

Nice try at a recovery though  Stick to your boring Danish politics

Kieren, our monarchy (which btw, I am very much against) have no political power. Nice try, but about 90 meters short of a 100 meter race  .

Dejavu, it might be obvious but it's worth pointing out. And with the way the reps have been on the board, they can expect the exact same treatment back.

When I face such a situation, I tend to go easy and be a nice person in order to avoid coming in a bad situation.

Muahahah. Hope I won't be bored with dem watchdog sites though, would be fun if I could keep it up. Four years worth of easy target. I've got my shotgun and I see a barrel full of fish.

HORRIDO!
