Host Disco's after scoring a kill?

Well, so far, so good.  I haven't had any disconnects upon pressing the "drop bombs" button since I made my antivirus/firewall change (basically, allowing aceshigh.exe unfettered Internet access in Norton antivirus).

I had this happen a long time ago. Was in Lancasters I believe, full salvo at minimum delay. Bombs dropped about 20k, and as soom as the second of 14 hit the factory, I discoed. Since bombs are invalid after you disco, it really made me angry. But hey, I'm over it and it hasn't happened since.

Was using a SB before. Not a Live, not an Audigy. I have it right in my hand (Due to it dieing a week ago) and can't remember what it is... :D

I also had the same problem with getting booted as bombs started to hit and register on the text buffer.  Posted a couple times about it and got no help.  Since then if I drop at lower alts I don't seem to have the problem - but would be nice to find out what is the issue.  I have an old sound card sitting around somewhere - maybe I should slap that in and see if the problem is resolved.

The following bug is showing back up for me big time.  I can't complete a bomber mission anymore starting with the latest version or patch.  I press my bomb button (get "click, click, click" and the whine of bombs dropping), then about 1 second or less after pressing the bomb button, I get "host connection lost" or some message like that, click "OK" on it, and get dumped back to desktop.  This is not just my modem losing connection.  It happens only immediately after pressing my "drop bombs" button.

The only thing I have changed (since last Aces High was working well for me) in my settings is cranking all graphics sliders full to the left (for best detail).

I fly over a target in a bomber.  I press the button to drop bombs.  I hear the "click, click, click" of bombs dropping then immediately get a "disconnected from host" message (or something like that), click on the "OK" button on the dialog box, and am dumped out of Aces High.  I start AH back up right after and can get back into the game no problem.

It also happened once immediately after I shot someone down -- same message dumping me out of AH immediately.

I had no warnings and no trouble before this point (e.g., no dropping to UDP or any complaints about connectivity, no trouble using voice, no trouble seeing messages from other folks).

It's almost as if it's triggered by something that happens right after pressing a bomb button.  I have never had it happen at other times or even several seconds after dropping bombs.  It's almost as if my button 2 on my joystick is the "abort connection" button instead of my "drop bombs" button.

This only started happening recently (like the last week or so).  I haven't changed anything on my computer, other equipment, or in my connectivity in that time.  Again, before this time, I have never seen this behavior on my system.

This is especially frustrating after climbing a formation of B-24's to 10-15k, getting all situated over a target, getting all lined up, only to get disonnected upon pressing the "drop bombs" button.

Any ideas?
