Adelphia had a large cable outage in COS last Thursday. It ruined a large amount of routers and that ilk. My place is one of those that has yet to be fixed, and hopefully will be later this week. So, I am without cable and internet, other than a slow dial up until then.
Not complaining, just an fyi.
It could be far worse especially had we lived in the Gulf Coast area. I thank the Lord we were spared that. As a result, I am appreciating the small things a lot more, like time with my bride of 3 months, and it helped me to have the time to organise a relief truck (I originally was going to drive my truck and a trailer loaded with supplies down to LA, but a company donated a semi) with some needed items.
