Things are a bit dicey right now. Mom's having more pain now. Changed her Pain meds this week. They are much more potent. She sleeps about 18-20 hours a day now and has lost weight down to about 97 pounds.

Her legs are begining to get epedema (sp). They are swollen. She has started seeing people in the room that aren't there. She is seeing people that died long ago in her life as well as recently in the family.

She doesn't eat much most days but occasionaly will eat what we think is a good meal for her. By yours and my standards it would be enough just to tick my appetite off. Her fluid intake is slowly going away as well.

Other things are going on but yet she continues her upbeat way when she can.

Side Note....

She has a favorite local C&W singer. His name is Dale Watson. He came over to our house last nite and gave her a a small concert. Just him and his acoustic. We all sat around as he sang her favorite songs he has relased and she was very suprised when he showed up. We had set it up as a suprise for her birthday. We had a photographer there and he got us a ton of pictures. He really cheered her up and made her very happy. He did this all out of friendship to her as one of his fans and did it for nothing. It was a wonderful evening for her and she enjoyed it very much.

Thank you for asking Bud.

Take care

Thats awesome to find someone that caring!

Just let me know if theres anything I can do, or if you just wanna chat.

I'm glad she's keepin up beat, thats the way to be.

I don't want to sound down or make whats obvious more obvious.

But sounds like she's becoming more intune with the other side, and those people, probally were there, waiting to help her on.

I'm glad she's still able to have fun, let her know someone she's never met is praying for her and is glad to hear she had fun with her favorite C&W singer..

Redtop, Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. I wish I had better words that could do something other than say I care, buddy.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Guys,

Once again I really appreciate the thoughts and prayers as does my whole family.

Mustaine,

I really hadn't ever listened to that guy real close at all. After hearing him with just that acoustic and all he really has some talent.

He sang that tune as well. Ther's a story behind alot of his music that is very tragic. After meeting him and talinmg to him and learning the story , he is really a great individual.

Take care all and Thanks again.
