The hangar is at the "Lone Star Air Museum" in Galveston, that's where we went during the WB-Con in 1997.

Ok, dumb question: those rear windows were added after war, weren't they? Or is that a standard feature in early Hellcats? It looks like if there's a backseat added, but I may be wrong....

That's a great museum.  I toured a museum back in the late 90's I think at an old Air Warrior convention in Dallas.  Got to sit in a mig courtesy of VW who worked there.  At 6'2", 240 lbs. I could barley fit in the thing.  They letting you fly some of those birds HiTech?

Isn't that 38 a pathfinder?  The angle isn't right to get a real good look at it.  But it looks alot like the pathfinder with the quad side mount guns.

F6F-3 had windows there. Not sure about a back seat though:D
