The frame 3 objectives have been sent to each side.
Also note we are going to try the special "Invasion element" for this FSO.
What this means is the following:
[list=1]
- At T+90 all dead Axis pilots can spawn as M8s at V5. If the VH at V5 has been previously destroyed the setup CM will restore so the Axis players can spawn and then will destroy it again after they have all spawned.
- At T+90 all dead Allied Pilots can spawn as either LVT4 or LVT2s. Fleet C115 will be moved within spawning distance of V5.
- If the CA of C115 has survived allied players may man its guns to bombard the base and M8s. There are not shore guns at V5 .. so its sort of important that the Axis sink the CA earlier in the frame.
- All GVs get one life in a GV. Meaning you will be allowed to spawn at T+90 and then V5 and C115 will close.
- Any surviving planes can continue to still fly and attack ground targets. BUT THEY CAN NOT ATTACK THE GVs!!!!!
- The allies LVTs job is to take the base. That means if all the structures are not down from the air attack they will have knock them down with their 75 mm HE cannons. And then get troops in.
- Axis job is to simply make sure the base does not fall.
- No hiding an axis GV in the map room!
The invasion element will not be factored into who won the frame or effect who won the series. It is meant to be fun and to add immersion. And to give dead pilots another opportunity at action later in the frame.
It can't be balanced because it hinges on the results of the air attacks. If V5 is destroyed and the allied CA survives obviously it will be heavily in favor of the allied LVTs.
If the allied CA is sunk and alot of V5 is still in tack then the Axis M8s will have the advantage.
So please keep in mind that the air battle part is built to be balanced but the land invasion is just meant to be fun and immersive.
