Hehheh....Don't I know it. I switched to the Bish in a noble effort to lend my meager skills to the lopsided fighting. But I'm pretty much fodder and other than absorbing bullets that might be fired at someone else I'm freakin' useless.

I believe only 12 saw action.

I'd love the 152C, with 4x20mm and 1x30mm, even though it had the Dora wings and a less powerful engine (more weight, less power, less wing area = MUCH worse performance, but MAN OH MAN, the firepower!!! *No* bomber would survive that!)

Actually Krusty the Ta 152 C used DB engines, gave it better speed bellow 30k, specially with the use of MW50. It did have shorter wings (bit longer the Dora) thus it would have turned worse. But speed alone together with the gun pack would have made it a killer.

Oooh, I didn't know it used a different type of engine, I thought it was the same engine but lesser rating!

You can dive it straight down and not rip the wings off.

be careful. You WIIL rip the wingts off if you rotate too quickly into a high g climb.  ask how i know.....:furious :cry

while we discuss planes ENY....why the KI84 has 15 ENY while the spit9 has 8 ? Ki84 is faster, turns better, well its 20mm are slow velocity if I remember well, but I can't think of another thing that is better on the spit that the KI...

ENY is decided by a combination of capability and usage.

Also, the Spit will out turn a Ki-84 if the Ki-84 pilot doesn't know how to get more out of it.  The Spit is easier to use.

The Ki-84's cannons aren't low velocity anymore than the Fw190D-9's are.  The only cannons that might be considered low velocity are the Bf109E and Bf110C-4b's MG/FF 20mm cannon, the A6M2's Type 99 Model 1 20mm cannon and the Mk108 30mm cannon.  All other cannon are noticably better than those.

ok I understand your point as the spit is easier to use. I meant low speed compared to the hispanos.

Btw I've read that the MG/FF cannons and and the Mk108 were throwing mines that were devastating :)

will we have the Mk103 someday ?
