I compiled a list of the daylight fighters in mid-1943 a while ago, and while there were indeed quite a few 109Fs and even Emils around, all of those seem to be with non-combat operational training units, Erganzungseinheiten. Ie., all the losses coming from non-enemy related causes and overhauls : rookies whacking the planes on traning etc.

Do you have some compiled info on losses and units in the Med 1942 and 1943. Always digging after some particular incidents.
Some I have as confirmed on the allied side, so it would also be interesting to compare with LW losses.
And the other way around.
I have the JG 51 book in German BTW if anyone is interested in something that had to do with that unit.
