LOL.. best 1 v1 duel I ever flew was aginst that guy in his gawddamed 109-G10. Damn, I hated that crate so much that whenever I saw one I just had to run it down and kill it .. hoping like hell it was Hristo

I don't remember my first kill, but I do remember shooting down Hitech when he was testing the flight model for the 262.  I was in a b-17 and heard some chatter about a really fast p-51 and that HT was on testing, and lo and behold here comes this stang moving much faster than normal.  Long story short I got to shoot him down and then invited him to come back and and shoot me down which he promptly did.

Are we talking this game? Or online WW2 flight sims?  I don't remember who it was in DOS Air Warrior(like I'd remember something from 15 years ago!), but I remember in Confirmed Kill (later to be renamed Warbirds) it was a fellow named Turk.

I remember as if it were yesterday.

I had just loaded the fancy new 'internet' on my computer with the use of this magic known as AOL.  I had stumbled onto a link for Air Warrior and commenced my first download!  Upon loading the game and giving myself a name (Gol-4 for Golfer) I took off from my new home of Az land.

Just after takeoff I saw several airplanes and I was behind them!  I slowly flew in behind being vewwy vewwy quiet and let them have it.  Too bad they were on my team and for the rest of my first day I was PNG

i remember my first kill was in AW3...flew around in spits & zekes that first day and was gettin killed every time...Thought "what if I flew a faster plane" and upped a p51...learned the B&Z right away(got 3 kills i remember correctly)

I can't remember my first... I didn't even know where to look. I just kept shooting until it exploded. My friend who got me playing (Swarm) was impressed cuz I'd only been playing an hour.

Now I can't even remember who I shoot down 5 minutes after I've done it unless it's a recognizable name. I remember shooting down Hitech's F4, Pellik's 38, Greebo's F6F, some of the JBs, otherwise I don't know how many kills I even have most of the time until I land.

Don't remember my first kill, it would've been in awII, and I'm sure it was just a matter of luck.

Great story about somebody we all know that I won't soon forget though.

I was doing my thing in my folgore on the pizza map when somebody shot me down in an La7. He promptly let me know how skilless I was and that I should go to the TA. I made a comment like "says the Lgay7 to the 202". After some cajoling and some psyops I got him to park his precious super plane and meet me coalt in a 202. So we're mixing it up for a minute or two and my squadie who just logged on sees me in a fight and swoops down before I can manage to type a message to him and blows somebody apart with 20mm cannon.

Well then somebody goes frothing ballistic. Ranting and generally becoming a total ape on chan1 for a few minutes.

I was rolling.

Heheh...ditto. Was so far back in AW I done forgot, but I was so bad that whoever it was was either worse, or I got lucky. I just remember the adrenaline was flowing so freely I almost hyperventilated. I do remember also, our field was being mugged by about 10-12 enemies. We were uppin fast as we could. The action was literally right on the deck. Blesk and I were squadmates. Anyone remember him? I was lucky if I could get 50 feet of air under me. Was a real blast.

I was babysitting my 3 year old grandaughter. I ran out of toys and story books so I signed her up for her very own 2 week trial of AH.
  I got her started and it seemed to passify her, so I left her alone to go grab some Ice tea.
  I was in the kitchen when she yelled at me and said  "Popaw, who is S T A G A?"
  She went on to say..." I just shot him down".
