Here is an update of Passion Wagon. I'm still studying weathering techniques so please let me know if there is anything wrong.

I'm no expert, but for weathering the underside, you might want to check out the b&w image posted by Guppy35, which can be found about 60% down in my "Another P-51B skin" thread.  (For some reason I can't post a link today...).

Ahh you can see color under your chipping make op 100% and make sure its above all layers but panel and rivets :)

Looks great btw..

I love the skin you've chosen to do, however I think the brown stains on the underside are far too pronounced, and the chipping is a little off but I can't tell why (I haven't done too much chipping). Maybe the chipping is too dull. Any way to make it brighter? If it's less than 100% opacity, as skychimp suspects, bring it up to 100%.

Seems too heavy on the weathering.  Arval Roberson, probably woulda fired his crew chief for letting it get that beat up :)

Photo of the real deal.  I sure don't see all that paint chipping

Gotta remember these were frontline birds, well taken care of by their crews.  Not that they didn't get dirty, but many were washed and waxed to get better speed, or touched up with paint to help the airflow over the painted finish.
